Off-Road Capability

Thanks to the 10-inches of ground clearance and a front axle that’s been pushed forward the approach angle for the new Gladiator is an impressive 40.8 degrees, while the departure angle is 25 degrees. This allows you to climb and crawl over steep grades and large rocks with ease, all while your kayaks and camping equipment sit securely in the bed. And upgrading to the Rubicon model raises the ride height to 11.1 inches for an approach angle of 43.4 degrees and a departure angle of 26 degrees for even more capability.

Two unique four-wheel drive systems are also available so you can tailor your Jeep Gladiator experience. The Command-Trac® part-time system features a 2.72-1 transfer case to aid with low-range power delivery for getting through the rough and slippery stuff, and can run in two-wheel drive mode for fuel savings for on-road driving under normal conditions.

Once again upgrading to the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon gets Long Island drivers added capability with the 4:1 Rock-Trac® heavy-duty part-time four-wheel drive system. The ultra-low range transfer case lets you crawl at even lower speeds for added control. And the front and rear differentials can be locked for the ultimate in off-road mobility.

On top of the 285-horsepower V6 engine and six-speed manual transmission, the list of standard features for the 2020 Jeep Gladiator offers a combination of comfort and convenience that will serve Huntington drivers well on every journey.

The driver’s seat has a two-way adjustable lumbar support, and you can adjust the height and seatback incline to find your ideal driving position.

The rear seat features a 60/40 split fold so you can slide long cargo such as lumber through the bed into the cabin.

Air conditioning is standard to keep you cool on the hottest summer days, and the illuminated cup holders will keep you from fumbling around in the dark to find your beverage.

The standard sound system features eight speakers for full depth and clairity, and the five-inch touchscreen display gives Westbury drivers easy access to all audio and multimedia settings including Bluetooth and phone calls. The media hub will also take a headphone input, SD, USB, or Aux connection so you can connect and charge your devices in multiple ways.

On the outside the 17-inch black wheels give the Gladiator a rough and tumble aesthetic befitting its aggressive abilities while the front fog lights help illuminate the roadway in low-visibility scenarios.

And of course, the removable top makes the 2020 Jeep Gladiator the only open-air truck on the market.

Available Trims

The four unique trims available to Long Island Jeep fans on the 2020 Gladiator each offer their own take on the new truck.

• Gladiator Sport

  The Gladiator Sport is the base version of the Gladiator, complete with all standard features. You can also add optional Selec-Speed® control and all-terrain tires for additional off-road capability if desired.

• Gladiator Sport S

  The Sport S trim adds power front windows with one-touch, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and the option to add Apple CarPlay and a removable Bluetooth speaker.

• Gladiator Overland

  The Overland trim makes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay standard while bringing the infotainment display from five inches up to seven. Also included is ambient interior lighting, and a fully integrated center stack radio setup.

• Gladiator Rubicon

  The most capable Gladiator model, the Rubicon adds ride height and an heavy-duty four-wheel drive system. Inside you’ll find unique Rubicon cloth bucket seats and the option to add a driver assistance package to get forward collision alert, blind spot monitoring, and the front and rear park assist.
